Oneloa is a 1/4 mile-long beach by the Kapalua Resort. This beach is typically uncrowded and features a shallow reef and calm waters. Oneloa is also on the path of the Kapalua Coastal Trail, which is a terrific way to take in the magnificent sights this beach has to offer.
While Oneloa sports calm, quiet waters that are perfect for snorkeling and swimming, strong rip currents can make these activities quite dangerous. That being said, this out-of-the-way beach is an incredible place to read, tan, and relax. However, keep an eye on the water, and take a dip when the time is right.
Poipu Beach, Kauai
Poipu is one of the nation’s most popular beaches. This beach incorporates coral reefs and sea caverns, which make for the perfect underwater snorkeling adventure. There are snorkel and surfboard rentals nearby, so you don’t need to worry about packing your own gear or struggling to find any. Mauna Kea Beach, Big Island

Also like most of the other beaches, this one is perfect for swimming and snorkeling in the summertime. Mauna Kea is lined by a couple of coral reefs, making for an awesome underwater adventure.
One of Mauna Kea’s most remarkable attractions is the manta rays that come and say hello at night. Once the sun goes down, the Mauna Kea Hotel uses floodlights, shining them over the water, which attracts plankton. The plankton draws in the manta rays, and due to the crystal clear water, they can be visible from several points. Even better than viewing them from afar, you can get up close and personal by taking a night dive.
