Is Myshopify a scam, or is it a legit website in 2025?

“Shopify” is a legit business, but the question was about “MyShopify,” which is a scam. BEWARE! If a deal is too good to be true, ITS PROBABLY A SCAM! MyShopify itself is not a scammer, but some store owners with MyShopify domain names may scam you. So, when buying something from myshopify, check their previous customer reviews to ensure it is a legit business.

You’ve mentioned “MyShopify,” which is likely related to Shopify, a popular e-commerce platform. Shopify is a platform that allows individuals and businesses to set up and manage online stores. If you have a specific question or topic you’d like assistance with regarding Shopify or “myshopify,” please provide more details, and I’ll do my best to help. Whether it’s about setting up your store, managing products, handling orders, or any other aspect, I’m here to assist you.

Shopify is a legitimate and widely used e-commerce platform allowing businesses to create and manage online stores. Many reputable and successful businesses use Shopify for their online presence. However, it’s essential to be cautious when dealing with third-party services or websites that may use the Shopify name. Scams and fraudulent activities can occur but are not directly associated with the Shopify platform.

MyShopify is not a scam. It is a legitimate platform used by millions of people to create and run their online stores. MyShopify is the backend platform provided by Shopify, one of the largest and most popular e-commerce platforms globally. When you create a store using Shopify, your store URL will include “myshopify.com” (e.g., yourstore.myshopify.com), though many users later upgrade to a custom domain (e.g., yourstore.com).

Here’s what to know:

Legitimacy of MyShopify:

  • Shopify itself is a well-known and respected e-commerce platform used by millions of businesses, both small and large.
  • Many legitimate businesses use Shopify to sell products online.
  • “MyShopify” is simply a default part of your store’s URL when you first start using the platform. It does not indicate any scam or malicious intent.

Caution:

However, as with any platform, some users may create fraudulent or scam stores using Shopify. It’s important to carefully evaluate any store you’re buying from. Here are some tips to help identify whether a Shopify store is legitimate:

  • Check reviews of the specific store you’re buying from.
  • Look for contact information like a physical address, phone number, or customer service email.
  • Be cautious of sites that seem too good to be true or offer prices that are unusually low.
  • Secure payment methods (such as credit cards or PayPal) are good signs that the site is legitimate.

If you’re building a store with MyShopify, rest assured the platform itself is trusted by millions. Just ensure that you’re practicing good e-commerce hygiene when browsing other stores or launching your own.

If you’re concerned about the legitimacy of a specific website or service claiming to be related to Shopify, do thorough research. Check for reviews, contact Shopify support directly, and verify the authenticity of the website or service in question. Be cautious of phishing attempts, and always use secure and official channels to access your Shopify account.

In summary, Shopify as a platform is not a scam, but it’s crucial to be vigilant and verify the legitimacy of any associated third-party services or websites.

MyShopify is a legitimate platform provided by Shopify, the famous e-commerce company that powers thousands of online stores worldwide. However, like any online platform, it’s essential to be aware of potential scams and do your due diligence when browsing or shopping on Shopify sites. MyShopify is a complete scam. After going through mixed reviews from a lot of people on this forum, I decided to find out the legitimacy of sellers on this website, ‘MyShopify’.

Basically, scammers find recently created Shopify stores and create one with a similar domain name, claiming to sell the same original product. In the meantime, Shopify took down the fake storefront and added more software tools that cost $30 and up and offer monthly maintenance for merchants’ transactions.

So we conducted a small experiment. I ordered two different items for INR 1000 each from two different sellers, as follows:. I had placed the orders on October 8, 2022. It’s been more than 15 days. There has not been any response from the sellers. I almost knew that these might be scams, but I took a risk to expose these rascals.

I have found out the following facts about the fraudsters:.

  1. The email addresses provided in the ‘contact us’ tab of both of these sites are fake IDs. They don’t exist. When I tried putting a complaint in the mail, it bounced back with a system response that ‘ID doesn’t exist’. This happened in both the sellers’ cases.
  2. I tried exploring the ‘Track My Order’ option. Since last 15 days, it shows, ‘Your order details will be available in the next 48 hours’ in both cases. Then I tried putting different order numbers. It says so for anything you type in. It is hard-wired coding. Absolutely rubbish and purely a scam.
  3. Even the payment IDs of the rascal sellers on the razorpay platform are following.

‘pay_FkidPTHlp0sTje’ registered in the name of some Vivek Singh

‘pay_FkgyjiWGEvabqA’ registered in the name of some Amar.

Both rascals might have already disowned these IDs after a successful scam.

These are absolutely fake IDs. Don’t fall for them. Something that looks too good to be true probably isn’t.

It is a scam. Check this link about it: Myshopify is rated “Bad” with 0.3 / 10 on Trustpilot

Be aware and goodluck

Is MyShopify a scam, or is it a legit website?

It is fake and hosts a lot of webpages that are unrealistic at times, electronics, and clothes, all for less than 1000 rupees. So people don’t pursue it relentlessly. It is like a small-value scam, which people will let go of due to its nuisance value. Similar experience with their carnival streetwear page.

It’s a completely fake website. I purchased a product but haven’t received it, and when I complained about it to the MyShopify team, they simply told me that they couldn’t check the order status and ended the conversation. Please don’t waste your money.

This happened to me as well. I spent a large amount of money on Metal Build Evangelion 01, only to find out now that it’s almost certainly a scam. I’ve sent emails every day, but nothing. Also, the website is offline now. Does anybody know of a way I can get my money back?

Then one of my friends told me that:

Give your bank a call and ask for a chargeback. I explained to them that the website was a scam, and they never sent me a shipping confirmation.

I also told them I did some digging on the website, and other people said it was a scam. The bank will just open a dispute and tell you to wait 14 days and then give them a call back if you never receive product, tracking, etc.

SHOPIFY is a “platform” where people can create their own “shop.” Shopify is NOT A scam. HOWEVER, MANY OF THE SUB-SHOPS ARE

They advertise products (usually by copy-paste from other large suppliers). They collect orders and get paid under Shopify’s obrella and then they disappear. You will never get your money back.

In that respect, yes, SHOPIFY HAS LEGAL RESPONSIBILITIES, EVEN AS “INTRODUCER” AND PAYMENT GUARANTOR (THUS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR “REFUNDS”). Unfortunately, PayPal (which is also an obrela but only for payments) is covering the same or similar kinds of scammers.

We should not let them “rest.”. Already reported to EU authorities and are taking legal action. Paid $20 for product X, plus shipping $10 (on Paypal’s invoice, in front of or covering up the “seller”). It cost me $20 for EU VAT+customs.

However, the product in the package was not the product ordered. After 45 days of disputes and claims, the “resolution center” proposed to me that I first return the wrong product, and then I would receive a refund of $30 (20+10).

At first, the “trading” basis is wrong or faulty. I paid in advance, and I demand to get my money back first. Even so, I am losing 100% of the deal (20 Customs + 10 Return Shipping). Obviously, they do that so you will lose more money and get zero results. check wordpress metabox

Anyways, we are filing a legal case for a full refund of our cost of $60, plus damages and losses, plus legal expenses. I think, we the consumers will always DEMAND, WHAT WE PAY FOR.

Can I sell digital products on MyShopify?

Yes, you can sell digital products on MyShopify. To sell digital products, you can create product listings on your MyShopify store and provide download links or access codes to customers upon purchase. MyShopify also offers features to limit the number of downloads or set expiration dates for digital products to manage access effectively.

Conclusion:

As there are a lot of MyShopify, it would be a mistake to assume that the reviews you can find online are about the same MyShopify.

That is obviously unfortunate for the honest store owners who are simply, for some reason, using a MyShopify domain instead of a proper one and now have to suffer from the fact that there are less trustworthy people who, through their actions, are harming the reputation of other MyShopify stores. And as there are indeed a lot of different MyShopify stores, there is also no discount code that would work for all of them.

However, if you have stumbled on this page because you are looking for a discount for running your own MyShopify, this page is likely to be helpful. I called 1 (855) 816-3857 and got a gentleman that would not help me nor represent me in being ripped off by one of their stores. All he told me was to contact my credit card company to get my money back.

You could tell he knew it was a scam. But they kept telling me to call my credit card company. Don’t ever buy anything on Shopify; they will not protect you. They just don’t care about the consumer.
